ARAPAHOE HIGH SHOOTING LINKS: Arapahoe High gunman held strong political beliefs, classmates said
In one Facebook post, Pierson attacks the philosophies of economist Adam Smith, who through his invisible-hand theory pushed the notion that the free market was self-regulating. In another post, he describes himself as “Keynesian.”
“I was wondering to all the neoclassicals and neoliberals, why isn’t the market correcting itself?” he wrote. “If the invisible hand is so strong, shouldn’t it be able to overpower regulations?”
Pierson also appears to mock Republicans on another Facebook post, writing “you republicans are so cute” and posting an image that reads: “The Republican Party: Health Care: Let ’em Die, Climate Change: Let ’em Die, Gun Violence: Let ’em Die, Women’s Rights: Let ’em Die, More War: Let ’em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?”
Carl Schmidt and Brendon Mendelson, both seniors at Arapahoe High, knew Pierson. They said he had political views that were “outside the mainstream,” but they did not elaborate.
So, he was a liberal with ‘outside the mainstream views’. Whatever could that mean? MSM must be so upset it wasn’t a “Right-wing Teabagger”… AGAIN. Pierson was also described as a “top debater”; kind of no debate happening when you opt for a shot gun though. By the way, according to Fire Andrea Mitchell, the Denver post edited the section I emphasized above.
The Denver Post which originally reported on his love for socialism changed the wording to ‘Keynesian.’
Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with the gunman, described him as a very opinionated Socialist.
Gee, media editing out inconvenient pieces of information? That never happens. Todd Starnes sheds light on those ‘outside the mainstream views’:
Why did Denver Post scrub paragraphs about school gunman allegedly being obsessed with socialism?

Gee, wonder why. Per usual, the Facebook page has been removed.
AP has a press conference clip:
Also – apparently not real big on waiting around to do more harm: Investigators said the total time, from Pierson the entering school until he took own life, was 1 minute and 20 seconds.
